I attended Rutgers University where I studied English Literature, graduating with dual honors from both the Honors Program and from the university itself (cum laude). I followed Rutgers with graduate studies at the University of Southern California where I earned my MFA in Creative Writing. Upon graduating USC I worked for a variety of studios and independent producers as a Reader, eventually writing a treatment followed by a partial adaptation of an unpublished novel written by Denne Bart Petitclerc about his friendshnip with Ernest Hemingway for the producer Thom Mount. Mr. Petitclerc died unexpectedly and the project was shelved. I returned home shortly afterwards to care for my mother who passed away several years ago. Afterwards, I took the ProSeries screenwriting course offered by to freshen my screenwriting skills. My prose Fiction is repesented by Sheree Bykofsky & Associates, in addition to which I am writing original screenplays and actively pitching several others I have completed.
