About David

David was born in Boston in the fetal position, which is where, as an LA-based comedy writer, he still spends most of his time. After graduating college without a job or a clue, he got his introduction to the film business working on the crew of a feature film for an unhinged director who stiffed him. And thus a comedy writer was born. He specializes in comedies about downtrodden characters struggling to become uptrodden. He is a Page Awards Finalist, Final Draft Semifinalist, 3x Austin Second Rounder, 2x Final Draft Quarterfinalist and 2x Stage 32 Comedy Semifinalist.
