Expand postHello everyone, my name is Lukas. I was born in Czechoslovakia and moved to the US in my teens to find what's out there. I started with no English thus had to take a 7+ year break from any acting. I did my "stage comeback" and a first US production in 2010 in "Bent" by Martin Sherman. It was an incredible experience. I went on to cast and direct theater plays, and then slowly started transitioning into film. I was invited to sit on a board for an international film festival as one of the committee judges. My duty was to look at films from all around the world and score acting, fluidity of the film, story, and character development. Other judges concentrated on different aspects of all the films. That opened doors to other small projects revolving around film. I found that film, camera, directing both film and plays excite me the most. I am very much a visionary, I build businesses, I consult with businesses, however my true passion has always been in film and theater. I lose myself in it. I believe in passion as well as in compassion for others. My goal is to make people happy by showing them a different world even if it's just for 90 minutes and then put them back to their reality with new emotions, food for thought, and perhaps better their lives. Although I have accomplished a lot in my life and I am an accomplished entrepreneur in other business ventures, I am longing for my passion and return to show business. I am known as someone who starts from the bottom and work his way up. I have collected skill sets through life experiences that serve me well now. I admire people who go after their dreams, turn them into goals, and are unstoppable. I will be more than happy to connect with people on here who are like-minded yet unique in their own way as well as with professionals who will help me re-enter this industry. Thank you, Lukas
