Young Director and Cinematographer from Barcelona, Spain. He filmed for the first time at the age of 12, and since then he decides that his professional future would have to be on films. He studied Audiovisual Comunication at the International University of Catalunya (UIC). He complements his theoric and narrative formation with the technique mastery of the profession. He is now receiving lessons from Werner Herzog, Filmmaker winner of Cannes and nominated to the Oscars among other multiple awards and nominations.
Joan has directed, apart from different short movies, commercials and viral videos, a documentary shot on Uganda in post-production phase, Children of God (Spain, Hong Kong and Uganda). He is now directing his second documentary, Street Artist.
He has complemented his brief but intense cinematographic path with projects as a Cinematographer, such as Rodando al Destino (Spain and Italy) and Faraway Land (Greece). Joan has received the Best Cinematography award at the Showing Film Awards 2016 (Madrid) for Sueño de Amor, and the Best Cinematography award at Gala Clack 2015 (Saragossa) for Desaparecida.

Cinematographer 'Children of God' is a documentary about the activity of a NGO from Spain (ADESCI), a NGO from Hong Kong (EAEA) and the collaboration of local people in Mulajje, Uganda. This documentary is a window to the reality in that rural area, and shows the relationship between the people from Spain, Hong Kong and Kampala and the rural people from Mulajje.
