When you can't shoot your film --- do a Comic Adaptation! While film production has been shut down, I took it upon myself to do a comic book adaptation of my short martial arts/sci-fi film script CYBER FIGHTER. Using a 3D animation program and comic creating software, I was able to self publish it, using the same production design that I intend to do for the movie. It's based on my novel which was developed from the feature script. Both books (and audiobook) are available on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZL6X6W6 As content creators, we all need to find ways to keep putting our work out there. Books are a great way to do that!

Getting Ready to Self-Publish My Novel - Adapted from the Screenplay I know that the common practice is to write a screenplay adaptation from a novel, but sometimes it makes sense to do things in reverse! I'm going to be releasing my novel, a sci-fi/martial arts/action-adventure with a comedic kick - "Cyber Fighter" - on Amazon Kindle & in paperback next month. It's been quite a journey going from writing the original draft from the script and then the many revisions and editing. The next step (besides marketing & promoting) will be doing a short film version and recording the Audiobook for Audible. For those who might have a script that they're struggling with getting Industry attention, perhaps this might be a good path for you as well -- bypass the "gatekeepers" and go directly to your audience!
