The city of New Orleans and the state of Louisiana.....and also the entire gulf coast region...has a talent pool and a building entertainment community to rival that of NY and LA...the film projects operating in these areas do charge the economy by bringing in revenue... The tax incentives cover all productions that hire physical and skilled laborers that are residents of the state...the rest they knock off to offering extra parts to locals...what I'm getting around to is...New Orleans is not yet an "Entertainment Hub" as much as it's a good and cheap place to shoot...and that's life...but where are the multitude of jobs for aspiring industry professionals...those that are building their resumes on their own projects and cutting their teeth on non union productions....they bring their own people....this place will never be nothing more than a hot location to film until studios set up shop and provide jobs even on a non talent level...celebrities loove New Orleans....Katrina was goin on 9 years now...u can save the pity....stop buying up real estate and staging photo ops....and bring the rest of the party here...you love us....show us...ok getting off my soapbox now

Hey Jason, a few days ago we implemented a new privacy setting to give you the option of accepting private messages only from users within your network. Today, I discovered a bug with the way this option is set for new users. I just wanted to let you know that the bug is now fixed, so all members are now able to receive private messages from any other member (the default setting). If you'd like to receive private messages only from users within your network, you can change this setting here. Also, you can access your privacy settings at any time from the drop-down menu that appears when you hover over your profile photo in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
