About John-Michael

John Longo, born a boy destined to become a man graduated high school in 1999. After a brief and unsubstantial stint as a Speech / Communications Major at St. Joseph's College in Brooklyn, John spent his early adult career moving from job to job like Kane in Kung Fu. Eventually he landed a cushy job for a construction company where his true passion emerged. After forming a strategic alliance with several like-minded co-workers, John, now in his late 20s and physically a man, shift gears to follow his passion... Media Production.

In 2009, John co-wrote, starred and produced a television pilot for the NY Independent Television Festival. The pilot was amateurish and John and his compatriots received a courtesy "Don't call us because we'll never ever ever call you" notice from the festival. Undeterred John realized his love for production was up to a level 20 while his love of construction remained at an all time low of 3 (the scale is set from 5 - 10).

In the fall of 2010, John Longo starred in his own personal sitcom called, "Community" at LaGuardia Community College in NY, which then became an unrelated cult NBC sitcom of the same name. After graduating with an Associates degree in 2012 with a GPA of 3.98, John transferred to Brooklyn College where he continued to master the art of Television Production.

As of May 2014, John Longo has completed all coursework required in his TV and Radio Production major, has 6 credits left in a marketing minor and will graduate Brooklyn College the fall of 2014. In his spare time he continues to work full time, write part time, take Improv classes, and film as many short films as he can.

In 2013 and 1/2, John was voted "Pretty Cool Dude" by his Mom (NAME REDACTED) Longo.
