Hello. Thanks for taking the time to check my bio. My writing resume includes 28 feature length scripts and 27 shorts. I've also written 7 novels and upwards of 64 short stories and dozens of essays. My work has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and the Best American Essays Award. My thriller feature script, "Recovering Sky," won BEST ADAPTED SCREENPLAY at the Golden State Film Festival in March 2024. My Georgia O'Keeffe biopic screenplay, "Blackness of Space, Whiteness of Bones," was just selected as a FINALIST for the Stage 32 Female Driven Screenplay Contest on June 21, 2024. It also won BEST SCREENPLAY DRAMA and BEST BIOPIC at 4Theatre Film Festival June 2023. It also won the GRAND PRIZE - BEST FEATURE SCREENPLAY at the Silicon Beach Film Festival Sept. 15, 2023. I've recently started writing essays and several have been published. My essay, "Can AI Learn How it Feels to Cry?" won the Writer's Digest Personal Essay Award 2nd Prize in July 2023. My LGBTQ+ rom com script, "Modern Marriage," won 4th place in the Writer's Digest Screenplay Contest 2021. Catch the Light (Short) Independent A quirky teenage girl moves to a new school and is bullied by the “in crowd” so she is befriended by a gay musician. Feeling like misfits, these two find solace together making music which helps her through the sudden death of her beloved grandmother.
