About Ben

Born in St. Catharines, Ontario, Ben Lichty graduated from the Film Production Program at York University in 2003 and embarked toward a career in shooting dramatic feature films. After working as a camera assistant in Toronto for 5 years with many highly acclaimed cinematographers on Hollywood feature films, in 2009 Ben transitioned to working solely as a cinematographer in the world of independent film. To date he has shot over 100 short projects that have screened at festivals around the world and six feature films including i am a good person/i am a bad person which premiered at TIFF 2011.
