About Laura

Laura is a freelance artist and designer nicknamed the “Minimalist Advisor” by collaborators and friends for her ability to find life in the smallest, mundane details. For the past ten years, she has helped businesses and individuals reach their creative potential and deliver their message through visual design. Working with brands such as Consumers Energy, NFL Films, and Towson University has developed her ability to work within brand standards and to adapt to a wide range of styles in environments where speed and accuracy are imperative. She is also a member the Production Designer’s Collective, an international group of colleagues dedicated to mutual support and resource sharing.

Her degrees from the University of Michigan School of Art and Design (BFA Art and Design) and Towson University (MFA Theatre) have provided a strong foundation in image-making and storytelling. She has continued these pursuits, not only for marketing purposes, but for commissions and personal projects that span across media such as film, commercials, theatre, and photography.

She is continually looking for new collaborations in art-making and production.
