MK – aka Katherine Mitchell - Becoming a member of the Writers Guild of America, West is a privilege. Until recently Katherine lived in Los Angeles and was working in the Hollywood Industry. She earned the privilege of WGAW by developing storylines for television and being contributing writer. Three of her original screenplays were acquired under paid options by production companies.

Katherine’s works are: YOURS FOREVER . . . MAYBE, a romantic adventure novel was first published by Kindle/Amazon and later the paperback version in 2012. Her second romantic adventure which is set in the 1950s, entitled WASTED . . . MAYBE became available in 2013. There is a third . . . MAYBE novel on its way entitled be SHELBY’S WAY . . . MAYBE. Among those works that are ready to be published is a lighthearted novella entitled CARNAL WOMAN—A TRAVELOGUE, about a one week sojourn in picturesque Portugal. Katherine also wrote THE ISLAND, which will become a novel. A SKIRT AND A SMILE is a collection of sexy short stories.
Katherine ‘s novels have been compared to Jackie Collins, Sidney Sheldon, Danielle Steel, but she feels she is still mastering the genre. Her romantic adventures will be followed by more literary slice-of-life endeavors.
She has won first prize for a short story; had an entertainment column for almost two years in a specialized national newspaper originating from California; interviewed several celebrities and developed a Profile of one time hair styling superstar, Vidal Sassoon.
Katherine is a prolific writer, easy-to-read storyteller and has the sense of humor.
