Leah Estrin started her career at Imagine Entertainment. During her 10 years at Imagine she moved up the ranks from assistant to story editor to creative executive. While at Imagine, Leah worked on multiple projects including Inside Man, Fun With Dick & Jane, Inside Deep Throat, Dude I Love Your Mom. One of Leah’s proudest moments at Imagine was setting up the true-life story The Knife at Universal. She also ran Imagine’s story department overseeing story analyst, monitoring options & writer agreements and handling all title registrations. Following leaving Imagine, Leah was a freelance executive for Disney Channel Original Movies. While working with the Disney Channel team, she discovered the great love she has for family programming. Over the course of her time with Disney Channel, Leah helped to bring in new material and set up multiple projects including My Invisible Sister and Alex Unlimited. Currently, Leah is working as a film & television consultant for writers and production companies while also developing her own material. Leah holds a BFA in Film Production from Chapman University and an MFA from UCLA’s Producing Program.
