About Tiago

Born in Lisbon, got through high school in an Art School - specialized in AudioVisuals. Was then selected to the Portuguese Conservatory - Film School - where he got the Bachelor on Film Production. Went to Brasil and got a Major in Film Directing at the UFF Rio de Janeiro.
Back in Portugal got another Major in ScriptWriting.

Wrote, Produced and Directed the short ONE NIGHT BULLET premiered at New York Film Festival, selected to festivals around the world and huge success in Portugal.
Directed a bunch of MusicVideos (50) in the past few years to top Portuguese artists, and also British French and Argentinian artists.

Directed his first TV Commercial in 2009 and won in Milan :)
Directed a Commercial for Coca-Cola in 2011 whose case- study was a candidate to Cannes.

He was a director of Comedy Contents in a Portuguese TV Channel. One of his TV Series - Melancomic - was considered Most Original TV Fiction by Portuguese Art Magazine "Time Out" 2 years in a row.

Directed last year a Docummentary NIGHT BALL in the Azores Islands about teenage life in the 80's and their relationship with the alternative brit-pop musicculture, while being isolated in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Started teaching Film Techniques for the International Company Village Camps, in Austria and Switzerland.

NIRVANA, his first feature (gangster comedy), had theatrical release in 2014.
He is currently shooting his second documentary about the greatest music composer in Portugal and looking for funding for his next feature. A horror flick called The Fear Session.

Lost Records (2018)
Film (Documentary, Biography, Comedy, Drama and 1 More) Producer An Azorean living in Lisbon, has lost his vinyl collection from his youth, driving him on a quest for his records, in a tropical and isolated island in the middle of the Atlantic. A rescue for his lost youth in the 80's.
Train Station (2015)

From there, the directors take Brown on a fantastical journey and throughout it illustrate the infinite possibilities that exist when a single event interrupts a person's timeline. Each decision Brown makes leads to a different scenario, each one told by a different director. A record number of directors from every part of the world worked together over the internet to outline, write and create the film. Over 40 actors and actress, of various ages, races and backgrounds play the single character. Every time "Person in Brown" makes a new choice, we cut to a new city and follow a new actor, but the story continues on.
