Angelica possesses a diverse dance background, having engaged in various styles for a cumulative 22 years. Delving into the world of theatre, she graced the stage at the tender age of 14, securing prominent lead and principal roles. Her artistic journey extended to vocal training, specializing in classical singing. Angelica explored music in her youth through late adolescence, trying her hand at piano, drums, guitar, and trumpet. Venturing to Vancouver at the age of 19, Angelica completed her Acting diploma at Vancouver Film School and furthered her involvement with small-scale productions in both British Columbia and Alberta.
As an introvert, Angelica found joy in expressing herself through various artistic mediums, including poetry, sculpting, drawing, and crafting. For five years, she operated a storefront on Etsy, selling abstract painted art pieces. Additionally, she devoted two years to photography as a side gig, specializing in lifestyle shoots and engagements. In her professional pursuits, Angelica dedicated herself to holistic healing arts, instructing yoga and meditation at various studios. Since 2009, she has designed workshops, programs, and retreats in this field. Balancing personal wellness, art expression and work, in her late-twenties, Angelica chose to broaden her intellectual horizons by pursuing knowledge through a Western perspective - entering academia as a mature student.
Approaching her thirtieth year, Angelica completed her undergraduate degree in Psychology. By the age of 35, she had earned a Master's Degree in Counseling Psychology. With aspirations to obtain registration as a Psychologist by 2026, Angelica re-entered the realm of production on her own terms. In 2023, she curated several projects, taking on roles such as producer and host for a 7-episode Interview series featuring Industry Experts and a year-long Yoga series accessible on YouTube. Alongside her production responsibilities, Angelica served as the writer and voice for a 34-episode Guided Meditations podcast, available on Spotify. Additionally, she assumed the lead content/script writer position for an 8-episode Educational YouTube series on Traumatology.
In the future, Angelica intends to persist in providing supportive services through approaches that integrate mind and body modalities, respecting both Western and Eastern healing traditions. Her goals include extending her reach by offering online courses to a worldwide audience and currently, and is in the incubation stages of writing a book. Angelica values family above all else and if she is not exploring and playing, she is spending time with her loved ones and small circle of friends.
