Synopsis

When the deep-sea research facility ORPHEUS-9 mysteriously reappears after vanishing for three months in the Pacific abyss, a specialized rescue team is dispatched to investigate what happened to the crew stationed seven miles beneath the ocean surface.

Leading the mission is Commander Rhea Kade, a hardened military recovery diver haunted by the drowning death of her young son. Accompanied by systems engineer Owen Drake, the team descends into the endless black waters expecting a systems failure or catastrophic accident. Instead, they discover a drifting underwater station scarred by violent damage, flooded corridors, and signs of horrifying self-inflicted bloodshed.
