Rob Hurtt

Rob Hurtt spent several years as bass guitarist and songwriter in a rock band then graduated into acting including a role in Adam Mason's cult horror 'The Thirteenth Sign' as well as lots of independent films, TV and some music videos. He then started to write and direct a number of very well received short films including 'Come Outside', 'I Remember April' and 'A Kiss So Warm And Tender'. He is currently working on the script for a pilot of TV show 'I Dream Of Amber Falls'- a weird and wonderful creepy crime drama set in the English Lake District. The show owes a debt to 'The Haunting', 'Twin Peaks', 'LOST' and Japanese Horror and the script has been described as 'Emmerdale on Acid!' Hurtt is currently on the lookout for a London-based writing team for subsequent episodes as well as a production company to help pitch the idea to network TV.
