Michael Patrick Owen
Michael’s career began at the age of five while performing in an Arby’s National Commercial.
Since that time, Michael has performed in radio, television, film, and theatrical performances
as a professional SAG-AFTRA/AEA union member. Michael’s production work led to travel of
33 countries and 562 cities over a thirteen-year period. Credits included: First European Tour
of West Side Story, First European Tour of Hair – The Musical, First Asian Tour including
China, Hong Kong and Thailand of “Rockin’ in the USA – Rock Revue”, 1st National U.S.
Tour of “Jesus Christ Superstar”, as well as a theatrical performer on Royal Caribbean’s
Song of America, Nordic Empress and Monarch of the Seas Cruise Ships for four years.
Michael’s film and television credits included numerous appearances on the television
daytime dramas – All My Children and Days of our Lives. Additional film work includes:
“Crimson Kiss”, “If at First”, and “Stay” music video.
Commercial appearances included McDonald’s National Campaign, Kentucky Fried Chicken,
Nickelodeon – TV Land Ad Campaign and “The Gathering’s” Role Playing Card Game
advertisements.
Production Feature Film credits include “Gods and Monsters” nominated for three Academy
Awards – Best Actor, Best Supporting Actress and (Winner of) Best Screenplay Adaptation,
and rigger work on the, Aerosmith’s – Get a Grip Tour (11-1-1993/11-26-1993/ Amptown
Productions-GMBH
Michael is a Disabled US Army Veteran (353rd Civil Affairs Command Unit -Airborne) and
decorated former Federal Officer with the Department of Defense Police Department
(Picatinny Arsenal & Tobyhanna Army Depot). He received 2 commanders’ coins and letters
of recognition for excellence and service in duty during his tenure at both installations.
Michael’s sales and marketing experience has been nurtured at such companies as
WorldCom, Clear Channel Radio and start-up liquor companies (Marani Premium Vodka and
Dulce Vida Tequila).
Michael has been a Digital Film Editor and Cinematographer for the past 15 years. Directorial
and Cinematography Independent film projects include “Tales From The Road”, “Only in the
Movies”, “Control”, and “I Can Tie My Shoes”.
