About Jane

Wrote the screenplay for the Showtime original movie FREAK CITY, subsequently nominated for a Writer's Guild Award. Have worked on independent films & in Hollywood; as well as written, directed & produced three award-winning short films (narrative).
* For stage, over 25 productions of my plays in New York & around the country; two compilations of my plays in print, including a popular collection of my short works KICKASS PLAYS FOR WOMEN, published by Samuel French. Most recently wrote & directed DUDE, IT'S BOULDER, a history of the town which enjoyed a sold-out run in e-Town Hall last December. Currently founding a production company to write & direct features here in Colorado.
* As an actor, graduated from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and worked in the Colorado Shakespeare Festival & as a member of the Denver Center Theater Company for several seasons before going on to Equity work in L.A. and New York. Experience in film, television & stage.

When a cynical young woman with Multiple Sclerosis is put in a care center against her will, she finds it is her emotional blocks, not her physical ones, that stand in her away.
