Juliette Garrigues spent 7 years in the industry in France as a composer of music for films. Among the movies she contributed are Far Away and Changing Times, two movies by director André Téchiné. She won the Special Jury prize for the original score of André Téchiné’s film Far Away (Festival International Musique et Cinema, Auxerre, France). In 2004, she was a jury member in the Cannes Film Festival’s « Directors’ Fortnight». Never forsaking music, her passion for film pushed her to study filmmaking at the New York Film Academy. She then opened a production company and began to produce her own movies. Today, two documentaries are nearing completion. She rewrote the feature length script for which she was a finalist at the National Center of the Cinematography (France) and has finished to write 2 new feature length scripts which are in production in New York. She plans to begin shooting in about one year in the U.S. She recently was a finalist at the Las Vegas Screenplay contest and at the Mexico International Film Festival.
