About Christian

Christian Seel is the owner of Christian Seel Media LLC ("CSM, LLC"), an independent multimedia production company specializing in food & cocktail photography and video production. CSM's recent work includes partnerships with Lettuce Entertain You, Breville, PolyScience and acclaimed journalist Steve Dolinsky. CSM has offices in Chicago and Los Angeles and has taken on projects all over the US and in Europe.

Prior to operating his production company, Christian held a full time position as the Media Director for the prestigious Alinea restaurant, Next restaurant and the Aviary cocktail lounge in Chicago. During this time, he developed and executed the in-house video and photography program for all 3 restaurants. The online videos he created have accumulated over 2.5 million views and garnered international acclaim.

He has spoken in Chicago, NYC and Las Vegas on the topics of food photography, video production and hospitality-related promotion. In 2013, he was invited as a director of photography, guest speaker at the National Association of Broadcasters (NAB).

Christian Seel is also a trained chef, has a degree from the Culinary Institute of America, Hyde Park, and has worked in michelin-starred restaurants in Chicago, NYC, UK and Montreal.
