About Enrique

European young actor Enrique Alcides was born in the Canary Islands in 1982 and grew up in Sahara Desert and Andalucía (at the south of Spain) where his ancestors are from, and since early age he began a long journey of experiences and international formation: Susan Batson, Will Keen, John Strasberg, Tamzin Townsend, William Layton, Arnold Taraborelli, Jaime Chávarri, JC Plaza, Patricia Kraus & Owen Horsley (from the English company Cheek by Jowl), are some professional examples that they have contributed to his acting development.

Member of the European Film Academy since many years ago and named Shooting Star during Berlinale Film Festival in an event hosted by Oscar winners Faye Dunaway and István Szabó.

Enrique has led several internationally awarded films and has enjoyed the privilege of working with artists such as John Malkovich, Peter Greenaway, Dabbie Harry, Geraldine Chaplin, Ángela Molina, Bob Wilson, Elena Anaya or Ana Torrent, having had in addition the honor of being the first and unique Spanish actor who has been booked at the Polish cinema by now.

On stage he has represented texts of David Hare, Terry Johnson, Antonin Artaud or Shakespeare, being Dostoievski's "The Great Inquisitor " with Boris Rottenstein's direction his last incursion on the tables so far.
