Hi everyone, My name is Carly and I was born and raised in Maine. (No it's not part of Canada ha ha) ever since I was a kid I loved movies and TV. I moved to Massachusetts in 2012 to follow my dream. I have done two 48 hour film festivals with Jenn Jennings and recently was a paid intern for Steve Katos at a local TV studio in Arlington MA. I'm always looking for hand on opportunity's to gain more experience. I know you can't learn it all but I'll do it anyway. I want to be a producer and I am born for that role just give me work and I will never quit because I'm not a quitter.

Hi there, I'm an amateur writer who has always been interested in screenwriting. I have tons of ideas and some outlines scattered all over the place, in my head, on my computer, in notebooks in my office, etc... I just love to write and in 2015, I'm going to follow Stephen King's advice and just write!!!! I'm so glad I found this network and am looking forward to making connections here because i want this hobby of mine to turn into something, or at least want to be able to tell my kids that I tried to use my talent. Ok, that's alot of information, so I'm just introducing myself here. I'm interested in historical films, not necessarily documentary type films, but taking an historical story and bringing it to life. Anyway, it's great to be a part of this site.

Good afternoon and happy non-denominational winter holiday! I am Jeremy, a weekend filmmaker from the Boston area. Though I have a bit of production and broadcast experience, I have a non-creative job that I love and that pays the bills (with a little extra left over to finance my hobby). I have recently taken an interest in being involved in short films. A few months ago I participated in a 48 Hour Film Project, in which my team was nominated for a number of awards including Best Cinematography. Since then I have been looking for other smaller projects to get involved with. However, I've noticed that it's harder than expected to find people who do this sort of thing for fun. Anyway I look forward to networking and finding like-minded filmmakers. Thanks for reading!
