It's a pleasure to meet you Denise! :) Thanks for accepting...much appreciated:))
Hi Bradley,
Your passion for this project and location is infectious - there's no such thing as bad publicity. The furore over the accents brought great attention to WMT and as you pointed out was a great distraction from the monotony of COVID. Any part of Ireland would welcome you back like an old friend.

Everyone is heading to the beach, stores have run out fans and grocery stores are running low on ice cream. Quite the contrast to the November weather that I like so much, the weather that draws you indoors for a warm stew, a peat fire, and a bit of craic over creamy pints.
I'm sorry I missed this film. I see it's streaming on Amazon Prime. Can't wait to see it- I'll try to catch it soon. (Thought I'd add that plug if anyone else is curious too.)
And may I give a plug now to County Sligo where Ballina is actually placed, but just - it's minutes from the border of Co Mayo.
I'm glad to hear from others who have struggled with "how to catch the spirit" of the place. It's wild out here, and I like it just as it is.

I enjoyed it tremendously, and I thought that was maybe because I am of an unusual 100% Irish heritage. But when I sat to the end credits to see the film locations, I knew it was more. Crossmolina? Where my great grandmother Margaret Timlin was born in 1862 (actually in Shanvolahan, an even smaller village), and where her husband, my great grandfather Patrick Timlin was born in 1857 (just down the road in Dooleeg). I was welcomed in the Crossmolina pub I had sauntered into looking for some cousins and the people there immediately contacted my third-cousin-on-the-Timlin side/fourth-cousin-on-the-Lynn side). The next day, Padraic spent hours taking me around to the ancestors’ homes and telling me stories of distant relatives. Lovely area, lovely people and I am proud to claim a family connection to this piece of Mayo.
WOW Brian! Such a great piece and great tips!

"I believe in the power of human connection." - THIS is the line that jumped out for me.
I left Facebook at the end of 2018 and posted a blog entitled HUMAN CONNECTION simply because I feel we are getting lost in screen time. I live my life by the GIVE Theory and it has certainly changed everything.
In 2011 I lost everything. Picked myself up and started over. Then in 2013 it happened again. This time my soul led me to LA to start over. Since then, my definition of success has changed drastically. I've published several bestselling books and have built a successful career as an author, and yet the accolades don't really matter to me. To me, it's all about the creativity, being able to create something of substance that inspires and gives someone hope.
In January I launched my own production company to support other creatives through education and collaboration in the areas of publishing, photography and filmmaking. I have never felt more in alignment with my passions and purpose than I do now. It's an amazing feeling. TODAY, success looks very different in my eyes. Being able to wake up each day, do what I love, support others and pay it forward means everything. Plus, my office most days is the sand of LA's beautiful beaches. That freedom to create and connect is true success for me. I feel so blessed.
Thanks for sharing and continued success to you.
Lifted my heart to read this - thank you!
INSPIRING. Thank you for a great read from real life.

This is a network for you, built by you. Like most things in life, the more you participate, the greater the rewards. We ask all new members to pay it forward by inviting 5 fellow creatives to the network and by spreading the word of Stage 32 through other social media sites such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter. The more creatives, the stronger the network. The stronger the network, the more opportunities.
Thanks for joining the movement and for being a part of this most talented and inspiring community. I very much look forward to your contributions.
Thanks, and have a creative day!
