I've worked in the independent community for a number of years as a screenwriter. Last summer I completed a social thriller that hits on a universal experience we all share/relate to. Currently seeking financing for this project. I recently co-produced an award-winning documentary, Shattered Families, about the experiences of families who are dealing with mental illness. I've also done development work for film, video, and web-based projects.
Formerly based in Los Angeles, I worked for commercial and film producer, Bob Giraldi, and served as Development Assistant at Silver Lion Films. In 2014 I was part of the crew for the remake of Black Beauty, directed by Daniel Zirilli. In 2009, I collaborated with producer David Bellino writing the short film, “It Only Hurts When I Laugh.” In 2005 I co-wrote the psychological thriller, Blur, released on DVD.
Currently working as a writer/editor in the literary world, I'm continuing to develop original material for both television and film. In partnership with Dr. Stephen Seager, I plan to produce more projects that will continue to amplify the message of “Shattered Families” and further explore the countless yet-to-be told stories surrounding mental illness.
