Matthew is a script writing, comic book published, comic strip syndicated, greeting card produced, short story, and poetry printed writer with facial hair.

THE STARTER MARRIAGE is a rom com feature-film based on Matt’s screenplay. The movie is available on a number of streaming platforms including Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and On-Demand. Web page is for more information.

Matt has also written six other feature-length screenplays that vary in theme: historic biopic (ERIKSSON), rom com (HALO & HORNS), comedy (MAN(NY) VERSUS MACHINE), drama (A FADING FINISH LINE), dramedy (THE DREAMERS SUPPORT GROUP), and sci fi (TIN GODS).

Matthew had two syndicated comic strips. EVERYBODY’S BUSINESS was with Copley News Service for 16 years, appearing in over 200 newspapers. A collection is available on Amazon. MISS ADVENTURES IN DATING appeared in the personals section of newspapers for two years.

He’s written comic books published by Marvel, Malibu, Valiant, New Visions, and Power Station; including the graphic novel, READ MY LIPS. He used to own a comic book store in the Los Angeles area where many artists and writers would do signings, such as Jack Kirby, Frank Miller, and Chris Claremont. He worked with Stan Lee and Dick Giordano in expanding the National Cartoonist Society to include comic book artists and writers.

He has a collection of short stories available on Amazon Kindle Vella called “Short Stories & Tall Wanderings.”

Matthew has been a columnist, a poet, and written greeting cards and e-cards. His samples can be found on his web site.
