Documentary Direcrtor Roots of Oblivion is the story of several survivors of the lahar of Armero in Colombia cause by a volcanic eruption in November of 1985. The government knew about it and did nothing to evacuate the comunity. As a result of this neglect, 25.000 people died. Now 30 years later, the survivors deal with the consequences that this event has had on their lives.
