WHY ACTING?
I have wished to experience living different lives in different eras within one lifetime from a young age.
Related Experiences:
Most memorable experience in connection with acting was in the literature class in high school. Where at the end of the mandatory, self-organized play, few classmates were telling me they could not believe this was me.
Somewhere between 2007-2008 I took part of a British acting seminar in London, where a casting agent from United States (Hollywood agent) chose actors whom he wished to see again in Los Angeles workshops. Allegedly I had taken a wrong monologue to perform. I was still chosen but had to turn down the opportunity for financial reasons. Two years after, I received a phone call where they repeated 2-3 times that they were "truly interested". This time as well, I had to turn it down for same reason.
Within the year 2011 I visited Los Angeles for getting acquainted with film history. During this time I managed to visit one acting class, one life-changing improvisation class and took part as an extra in a TV show's episode. At the same time, I applied for film director's study in Los Angeles Film School. I was also accepted yet had to turn this opportunity down for family reasons and financial complexities.
My music-related experiences started from childhood, more visibly within the years 2007-2011 when I took part of a youth music group named Sireli as a violin player and vocalist. https://youtu.be/4P-eVDtPL5Y
Within the years 2013-2017 I led two church music groups, one music group of members with special-needs , co-led the children's music class in third church and took part of an innovative crank-organ music group.
From 2017-2018 I co-led a music class for children with special-needs in Tartu.
Related education: choir conducting 3 years, vocal studies 1 year, violin 7-9 years
Work experiences: Active saleswoman at fairs and events: work has included selling/on-spot team management/mentoring/customer service/preparing products at the spot, for 7-8 years; Music teacher in a Waldorf primary school for 1 year; Cashier, customer service person and shop supervisor in a clothing shop for 1 year; Chef's assistant and baker for 3 months (2006).
WHY FILM?
I have been convinced that film makes experiences timeless and has the potential to express details in an intimate manner that no other form of storytelling can.
Unique traits: boldly honest, emotional balancer, observant, analyzer, tendency to clarify and simplify procedures innovatively.
