Hey! I'm a Chicago-based filmmaker and editor with a background in Russian studies and economics. I am a current senior at the University of Chicago, but will be graduating in June of 2016 and am eager to jump into all kinds of filmmaking projects in the Chicago area!
I started filmmaking in 2009 with the Sacramento-based Documentary Foundation, the production company behind the award-winning Age of Champions. There, I made films that were broadcast on Sacramento public television and showcased in several film festivals including the Mill Valley Film Festival and the Sacramento Bicycle Film Festival.
I have experience directing, producing, shooting and editing both narrative and documentary shorts, as well as commercial & experimental work and animation. I have worked with Chicago-based documentary production companies Beti Films and Kindling Group. While my passion is for post-production, I am excited about all parts of the filmmaking process. I am constantly working on independent projects and expanding my skill-set -- and am always happy to collaborate!
