Synopsis:
What this documentary is about:
This documentary I'm making in the name of Jude is primarily because when I was finishing film school I had a plan that involved herself in a short film to be produced and told her this, unfortunately, this was not to be. This documentary is about what happens when your illegal/ legal and die, also I'm wishing to cover the greatness of all community in people from a faraway land to show values that are truly needed in this day and age. I'm in hope that this will flourish into something else special and educate people about the process.

Expand commentI'm not familiar with the smaller European festivals. The best platform for worldwide indie cinema remains the Sundance Film Festival. If the submission dates work for you, let that be your Plan A. Then let others be your Plan B. If possible, you want to start with Sundance, because they prefer to be the site of world premieres, and they often won't program films that have been played at other festivals.
Let's assume your material is great, then you should chase the dream, right? What can it hurt to start at the top? But definitely have a Plan B because the major fests are super selective.
Hey David, have you checked out Cineuropa.org? They are the masters on all things European film and usually have good advice on European film festivals.
