Mike Sayre is a composer and performer in the Hudson Valley.
He has composed original music for several independent film and web productions in the New York area, and has also worked as a music technician supporting several shows on Showtime and CBS.
In addition to his film work, Mike has released an original album about climate change, Music for Icebergs. He was the composer-in-residence at the Queens Museum in 2018, during which time he wrote and performed the immersive concert work "Song of the Sea" for Horn, Cello, and Designed Sound.
Mike holds a Bachelor’s in Music and Media Technology from Ball State University and a Master’s in French horn performance from Rutgers University.
