I joined Stage 32 to connect with great creatives and try and build a good network of online collaborators and friends in the trade . I have been doing broadcast and TV work for regional clients for over six years now and I am now trying to break away from that into more international and stylized work instead of the generic requests I get and I would love to meet fellow creatives

Expand commentHi Brandi , nice to meet you I have had the pleasure of working with some great clients in the states and europe and what I notice is that when I am working with these clients a) the workflow and roles in the project is very dedined and clear , b) the kind of work expected is very clear c) there is more room for creativity because the briefs are usually very different from one client to another , what I mean by stylized is that international clients I think are more bold when it comes to accepting new styles and running away with them compared to what I usually deal with local and regional arab clients who are too scared to migrate from the 3D work or somehow value 2D or stylized work less . Stylized work for me is anything from cel animation , to abstract animation , anything experimental and different from what one is used to Having done this for six years now , I am finding it hard to get excited about briefs and projects anymore unless they have a new style , and that is what I am looking for . At the moment I am so into the flat look and looping animations , I find that it helps me focus more on what I want to do instead of worrying about render times and simplifies everything to it's more basic look and focuses on the art instead of how real something is rendered

Expand commentHi Alae - great to have you here! I went to check out your work but I didn't see anything listed on your profile. To get the most out of what you want to accomplish on Stage 32, it'd be great for you to upload your work so we can get an idea of what you do/what your talents are. That way if you have someone interested in working with you for more stylized work, they will get an idea of your portfolio. If you need tips this will help: https://www.stage32.com/blog/The-Most-Important-Page-on-Stage-32. So great to have you hear from Lebanon. Let me know if I can help with anything!

Did you say famous or infamous? I get the two mixed up. Famous would be rescuing someone or saving a life. Infamous... Lets not go there! :>

Saving another person life is the most rewarding thing one can do and I got to do just that when I donated a kidney to my ailing father six years ago and watching him now full of life.

With my role as a Massage therapist when I see people able to walk after years of joint pain it really warms my heart. Even when it's a very sad moment, like having to say goodbye to my Hopis client which was also my grandfather. "Thank you, Baby...." His final words to me before he went to bed for that last sleep. It was a really bitter sweet feeling that day.
