Dakota Vegh was born in the town of Langley, British Columbia. At the wise age of three, young Dakota was watching TV when it suddenly clicked in his mind that the people inside the TV weren't actually inside the TV; they were real people doing these things. That's when he knew what he wanted to do with the rest of his life.
When he was 6 years old he joined Scouts Canada, has been a part of the Scouting Movement ever since, and now volunteers his time with youth in his group.
In high school, Dakota joined his school's acting intensive program, as well as the musical theatre program. In his last year of high school, he entered the film industry as an extra, and continued to do so for the following year. It was at this point that he enrolled in school at New Image College of Fine Arts for their two year full time film acting conservatory.
After 2 years of study, Dakota is preparing to graduate, after which he will begin his professional career as an actor. He also has plans to create his own projects including films, theatre productions, and a web series
