Motivation is a thing that comes and goes, lol, a bit like money. At times it can be the fuel for a burning desire to get out of bed and get to the desktop, other times just a seedling thought at the back of the mind. I agree withCherie, sometimes we just need time out, to re gather inner resources.
I stay motivated by working on more than one project at once. When a story or anything hits me just right it drives me to keep pushing forward. When I feel that drive slow down I turn to my other scripts or projects I feel that same drive for. I work on whatever keeps me motivated.
I've been writing for 11 years and am now getting into the production side. It's a tiresome beast, but now the only thing I can think about is when I can finally just get back to writing, lol.

Motivation comes and goes on the wind. I’ve tried forcing myself to write but that just leads to dissatisfaction. Some days I just play around with my computer or visit forums (like today) but others that I’m so engrossed in a story that I write all day long. I just need to be available when my Muse stops by.
