Roberta McDonnell

Unique traits: Living just outside Belfast, NI, with my great husband and wonderful daughters, I thrive on writing, from blogs and popular psychology-anthropology, to poetry, short stories, novels and screenplays. My experience ranges from mental health nursing to doctoral research student, health research associate and academic author, to community arts marketing and audience research. My deepest aspirations lie in the direction of screenwriting and book-to-film. I am currently seeking representation/ publication for my first novel, while my ongoong work-in-progress is a screenplay set in a 1980s Belfast Institution.
