Jude Tavanyar

I'm a freelance journalist, psychotherapist and published author (two books) by background, and have been writing on social and health care, leadership and communication-related topics since 1987. I'm an editor and more recently a screen writer who has twice got to final stages of shortlisting by BBC for development of two comedy drama film scripts I wrote; this was from several thousand entries. From my own initiative and contacts I produced and edited a short film about the closure of a London ice rink with a crew of two people, self included. I'm interested in scripting / editing / general production roles relating to short films; particularly interested in films about women that avoid the usual stereotypes and break new ground for 'female roles' in movies and on TV.
