Hey, I'm Oren and I'm new here. I've been working as a flight attendant since 2002 and, as of last November, an aspiring screenwriter. I already have one completed screenplay, "The Accidental Angel", which I've submitted to several contests - here's hoping - and another screenplay, "Choking Back The Tears", is almost done.

I am working on an indie film short. It has a total of 3 scenes. Basically I would like to know what is the proper way to breakdown visual fx shots so I can competently speak with a company or free lancer about pricing. For example, say I am doing Star Wars and I say I want to show a Star Destroyer moving through space. Is that one shot? Or is the moving through space several shots? What about closeups? Or another example would be Jurassic World with Raptors running. How may shots is that? What I am looking to do is a lot simpler, but it still takes time and effort. Thanks for any insight you can give.

I am looking for individuals interested in teaming up either in person or remotely to work on some banger projects. My name is Levi. I am an independent film maker. Meaning that for the most part I do it independently and without help. This has forced/helped me to learn a lot about pre through post production. Hello everyone. I am looking to introduce myself to the group here. I am an after effects veteran who has been using the program for over 13 years. Hey there, folks. With the digital imaging software Adobe Photoshop CS5 I have, I'm able to create the end credits to films with logos, info and everything such as title designers Matt Curtis, Pacific Title and Scarlet Letters can to name a few, while bringing my own presence into the business. But there's one thing that's got my goat; the knowledge to make the credits scroll from bottom to top for the end credits to look amazing. Is there anyone out there that can teach me the know-how on how to do it, or is there a company out there that I can outsource this to for me for an inexpensive fee? Can someone please respond out there? Thanks!!

I am looking to learn After Affects, and looking for advice where to start. I hear great reviews from Video Copilot. But don't know with what videos to start with.
