About Max

Born in London, United Kingdom in 1994 and raised on a healthy diet of Star Wars, Spielberg and 007. I'm a writer/director, producer and script consultant. My films have always been guided by the adventure, suspense, playfulness and the wonder of the films I absorbed in my childhood.

My most recent works to screen, A Night In' and 'Stalled', have won numerous awards respectively at international film festivals, including 'Best Director', 'Best Thriller' and 'Best Horror'.

I have a slate of projects in various stages of development.

Drawing inspiration from filmmakers like Alfred Hitchcock, William Friedkin, Carol Reed and Guy Ritchie, STALLED is a kinetic and playful modern noir and survival thriller from director Max Aaron ('a night in'), screenwriter Jonathan Sieff ('The Exchange') and producer Daniel Taylor. With atmospheric Black & White cinematography by Anna Dushenkina and original music in production from May McDonough. Shot in London over four days in 2019 and 2020, it showcases the best of British creativity and a diverse crew.
