About Ruggero
Hi,
I'm Ruggero Dalla Santa, an Italian writer and director working in the UK.
I graduated in 2011 from East 15 Acting School and have been working professionally ever since.
My latest short movie, Creation, won Best Picture at the Muybridge Short Film Festival 2017 in London, received an Honourable Mention at the 42nd Boston Sci-Fi Film Festival (2017), and was selected for the Cannes Short Film Corner 2016 the Amsterdam Lift-Off Festival 2016, the NanoCon International Sci-Fi Film Festival 2017 and the Cambria Film Festival 2018.
Over the last nine years I have directed over six hundred (yes, 600! Crazy, right?) actors thanks to my showreel-making business, One Foot in the Door, as well as directing projects like short movies, corporate videos, and web series with my production company, Shivers Above Madness LTD.
I teach a regular screen acting workshop dedicated to trained actors who want to increase their effectiveness on camera and I also have an online screen acting course available.
