About Mathis
Hi there. My name's Mathis. I recently graduated with a degree in Film Production from Huntington University and I have moved to Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking.
My top two passions are writing and directing but I also enjoy being on set in general- no matter the job. All of the jobs I've listed in my occupations section I have done on other productions. I'm looking to build experience and meet people also passionate about working in the film industry.
My school offers an off campus study program in LA so I lived here from January to May and during that time I held an internship at a production company in Santa Monica and directed a short film.
Most recently, I have written a short film screenplay that will be shot this summer in Mexico.
