Grounded with a background in painting and performance poetry, I am an aspiring film director that strives to create poetic narratives exploring themes illuminating the interchangeability the human individual and nature. When we are lost in the majesty of nature's greatest landscapes, we are not in awe from admiration but utmost compassion because in them we see the essence of our own existence reflected. Our own bodies are a bridge between humanity and the natural world. Death is not an end, but a direct crossing into soil, trees, forests, and the cycle of the earth. Before the events of the industrial age, this bridge used to be crossed all the time in all of our lives. Instead of letting society and recent industrial developments steer us away, we must find our way back across this bridge in order to propel humanity forward.
Through film-making, and poetry this is the work I strive to do.
