A fine artist from Chicago, Josh received a foundation in photography & poetry as an exhibiting artist before beginning his career as a filmmaker. Josh’s first feature film, THE 4TH MEETING, premiered at the 2014 Black Harvest Film Festival at the Gene Siskel Film Center. The film went on to win Best Picture and Best Actress at the Black Excellence Awards. The screenplay, URBS IN HORTO, that Josh helped develop with his sister, Cy Weisman, who wrote the screenplay, became a quarter-finalist for Francis Ford Coppola’s American Zoetrope Screenwriting Competition. Josh's second feature, A HORROR STORY, is now in development.
