Okay folks. I have been avoiding Stage32 for a while..... Why? I had to focus. As of 9:15 pm Dayton, Ohio time May 4, 2016 I finally finished the first draft of the Screen Play I have had such trouble finishing! YAY! Now to set it aside and let it ferment for a month or so and then start the revisions!

It's in the can! Three crazy days of shooting after weeks of preproduction for the short. Actually we wrapped on Monday, but I needed a couple of recovery days to be able to interact as a human. Great cast and crew! Now on to Post!

Two days until production. I have moments of doubt, followed by knowing that you can't eat an elephant in one bite. If I focus on the thing in front of me, get it done, and go to the next thing, it will be okay. I have some wonderful and talented people involved on the project and I don't have to do everything myself. Breath.....Breath.....

I think I may write/record an entire blog/vlog on casting for a short film in the Midwest. It is a whole experience that is kind of like giving birth. Painful, ugly, messy, and you don't get what you expect. But I suspect it will turn out better than I could have imagined.

Started a project with a fellow Stage32 writer! We have started the casting process. Exciting time!

I had to laugh today. Reading a post and comments in the screenwriting forum I found myself thinking, "They are arguing semantics." Then I realized it is a post full of writers... of course they are.
