Elizabeth Quinn lives in Los Angeles where she works as a writer/producer in several mediums. Her work focuses on female-driven stories about rebels, underdogs, and the square pegs that will never fit in with society’s rigid standards. As a writer, her sweet spots are historical fiction and absurd comedy, and she loves exploring offbeat, provocative angles on common themes.
Her scripts have been finalists in the PAGE International Screenwriting Awards, Cinequest Screenwriting Competition, and the Top 50 Tracking Board Pilot Launch Competition. She is currently in post-production as the sole writer on the original scripted podcast series, “Going Reno” starring Bonnie Hunt and Joelle Carter, which she co-produced with director, Laura Knight. The series was an official selection in the 2024 Tribeca Festival Audio Storytelling category (Independent Fiction) and received a Special Jury Mention. She is also a contributing author in the recently published book, “Ted Lasso & Philosophy: No Question is Into Touch”.
Elizabeth also has an improvisation background that spans decades and includes performing on a house team at the Peoples Improv Theatre in New York City and in several improv festivals throughout the United States. She also helped created the improvised mockumentary feature film, “Unscrewed” which premiered at the Quad Theatre in 2005 in New York and played at several national and international film festivals.
