Santiago Borensztejn studied cinema at Universidad del Cine (Buenos Aires, Argentina), he specialized in Film Direction. He is currently finishing his thesis for his Bachelor’s degree. He alternates his work as a producer with directing short films, both fiction and documentary. As a producer his most prominent works are, the web series MOVIE BUFF (2016) directed by Eduardo Pinto and CYCLES (2018), a documentary film directed by Francisco Pedemonte premiered at the 20th BAFICI. He was also part of the feature film THEN HUG ME (Javier Rao, 2017) as an assistant director and THIS IS NOT A COUP (Sergio Wolf, 2018) as a unit production manager. During 2018 he was selected to be part of the 13th Talents Buenos Aires as a Producer. He is now an Executive Producer at Plac Studios, an animation studio specialized in developing its own content.
