About Evan

When Evan Kaminsky was in the closet, he found some fabulous things that he refused to leave without. Among these trinkets were glamour, style, creativity and a knack for timing and comedy. With his gifts, some charisma, and great comic timing, Evan dreamt of becoming an actor. His dream soon was reality when he moved to San Francisco. As many newly out boys in the city by the gay, Evan studied theater arts with a double emphasis in performance and makeup. Combining the two, he performed in local theater productions: Artful Circle Theater’s Way Out West and later, Terrence McNalley’s The Ritz. Both required Evan to dress in drag. Inspired, he soon created the drag character, Faye Lasheo, entertaining audiences through the bay area and then stared as herself in the short film Raised by Drag Queens… San Francisco was never the same. While Faye hosted shows and performed in clubs throughout his new city, Evan attended San Francisco State University. There he found a deeper love of Theatrical performance, performing in David Mammet’s Sexual Perversity in Chicago and Oleanna, as well as Shakespear’s Much Ado About Nothing.
In 2001, Evan opened Oui, Three Queens Productions (), and also attended beauty school to become a licensed Esthetician. To top it all off, Evan became an ordained minister, All this, in support of his performance dreams. When not performing, Evan’s other specialties include makeup artistry, custom blended makaeup products and skincare services. He is also available to marry you in any style, tradition or any number of his beloved characters! Whether looking beautiful on stage himself, or making others beautifully flawless, Evan now utilizes his creativity, charisma, quick wit and sense of humor in his performances
