Conscious or unconscious biases in the resume screening process mean that many job candidates from non-white backgrounds are faced with a difficult choice: to hide their identities behind "whitened" names and experiences, or to risk their CVs being moved to the rejected pile. My short documentary looks at the issue and its origins, and tells one man's story of how he made his choice.
I made this film in an attempt to capture the spirit of Stacey MacNevin's experimental art, and to convey a visceral sense of the organic and physical nature of her approach.
