About Kristen

Kristen Archer is an American voice actress for animation, commercials, and video games. She is known for "The Pumpkin Story" and "Artisan: Going Home Again".

Before voice acting, she started "online acting" in the spring of 2010 when she found an audition on YouTube for a web show called Gig. From then on, she started her projects on her YouTube channel. She posted auditions, and several vlogs, and created a couple of original shows. That following summer, she was contacted by Chris Heaven, the creator of Vincent Kosmos, who invited her to be on his sci-fi web show. She played Circe in a few episodes of seasons 5, 6, and 7. In 2020 she reprised her role for one episode.

She started voice acting in 2011 when she saw a fan project audition at a Kingdom Hearts fansite. A friend encouraged her to try it, saying that she "has the voice for it". As her first voiceover audition, she didn't get the part, but she was immediately hooked to voiceover from that moment on. From there, she continued to try for other fan auditions at that site until she saw a link to a voice acting site called Voice Acting Alliance (sadly this site no longer exists). "I was shocked to find so many auditions. This is where I began to build my voice acting skills." Soon she had auditioned enough to create her first voiceover demo. She did this for the entirety of 2012 and was cast in several fan projects and original projects.

In late 2012, she was contacted by Gary Lee Fishman when he saw her demo on YouTube. He liked it so much that he asked her to voice a character in his children's pilot. After her acting coach, Vicki, spoke to him for a while, she recorded for his pilot at a local studio in December 2012. "It was my first time recording at a studio for a professional gig, and I was ecstatic! The show is called "The Secret Kitchen" and I voiced Brenda for that." The show wasn't picked up by any networks but is now available in DVD form instead.

After that, she continued to act on numerous online projects and take acting lessons. From 2014-2016 she voiced in visual novel Artisan: Going Home Again and its game trailer. In 2018, she was cast in The Pumpkin Story.

After a five-year drought, in 2023 finally, projects were casting her again. In 2024, she was signed to Innovision Talent Agency.

Kristen auditions regularly and takes voice acting classes as often as possible.
