About Dwight

Dwight's journey emerged as BTS producer and director for 2016 The Birth of a Nation. He's produced shorts that won USC First-Look Best Sci-Fi 2020 and Urbanworld Film Festival 2019 Best Music Video. He's currently a co-producer for the series BASELINE, which is now streaming on Mansa. Most recently, Dwight's short script PRIMUS was placed top 10 as a finalist for the 2022 Ida B. Wells Grant.
