Following the challenges of divorce, Anita sought solace in the remote town of Freedom, Oklahoma, where she made substantial investments in a 3400-acre ranch, partnering with a local cowboy to raise rodeo bulls. Her commitment extended to constructing a lodge, arena, and restaurant, marking thirteen years spent navigating the demanding world of ranching and rodeo in Freedom.
Anita's accomplishments as the proprietor of the Oklahoma western guest ranch received recognition in various publications and local television shows. Her collaboration with Warner Brothers Studio on a reality television show depicting her life in Freedom further showcased her ventures. Her association with reality TV even caught the attention of the National Enquirer, resulting in a feature article about the outcomes.
