About Gil

Gil is a Brazilian-born filmmaker with roots in the Middle East and is currently based in NYC. His screenplay, “The Delivery”, won Silver at the Page Awards and sits in top 1% of Coverfly’s rankings. His horror screenplay, “Kyra”, beat out 1300 other screenplays to garner a finalist nod at Page as well.

He is currently developing a series with Archer Gray and is the editor of the features, “TransMilitary” (SXSW Audience award 2018), “Aggie”(Sundance 2020) and “Minted” (Tribeca 2023). He is also an accomplished guitarist and is training for a motorcycle trip across Asia in 2024.
